Bill Wyman's Rhythm Kings

 

The Groovin' CD single issued by Bill Wyman's Rhythm Kings in 2000, featured three tracks, one exclusive to this release. Band vocalist Beverley Skeete provides a pleasant vocal for this cover of "Groovin'", aided by Wyman's troupe of musicians.

"Can't Get My Rest Tonight" showcases a blistering slide lead guitar solo contributed by Wyman's former Rolling Stones' mate guitarist Mick Taylor. Georgie Fame sings the lead vocal on this slow-burning R&B piece.

"Gambler's Lament" has the distinction of Wyman's "Dirt Boy" partner, guitarist Terry Taylor, delivering the lead vocal on this original humorous tale composed by Wyman & Taylor. Limited in quantity but bursting with quality, this tune is not to be missed.
